Overview
The GTM Suite connects to your existing marketing stack — CRMs, ad platforms, email tools, analytics services, and more — through secure OAuth integrations. Once connected, your tools share data with GTM Suite automatically, keeping your campaign metrics, contact data, and analytics in sync without manual exports. We never save credentials or passwords on our platform - so you can rest assured your credentials are secure.Go to Settings → Integrations to manage all your connected apps.
Before You Connect
- You need Admin or Owner role in your GTM Suite workspace to add integrations
- You need an active account with the app you’re connecting
- For CRM and ad platform integrations, ensure you have the necessary permissions in that platform (e.g., admin access to your Google Ads account)
Connecting an App
- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Find the app you want to connect — use the search bar or browse by category
- Click the app card to open its connection panel
- Click Connect
- A browser window or popup will open to the app’s authorization page
- Sign in to your account on that platform (if not already signed in)
- Review the requested permissions and click Allow or Authorize
- You’ll be returned to GTM Suite automatically once the connection is complete
- The integration card updates to show a Connected status
GTM Suite uses OAuth for all integrations — your login credentials are never stored. The connection can be revoked from either GTM Suite or the connected platform at any time.
After Connecting
Once connected, the integration becomes available throughout GTM Suite:- CRM integrations — High-intent accounts can be synced directly from the GTM Intelligence page
- Ad platform integrations — Campaign channels can pull live metrics from your ad accounts
- Email tool integrations — Email campaign channels sync open rates, clicks, and conversions
- Analytics integrations — Traffic and conversion data flows into your Analytics dashboard
Managing a Connection
From Settings → Integrations, you can:- View connection status — See which apps are connected, pending, or disconnected
- Re-authenticate — If a connection expires or shows an error, click Reconnect to refresh the authorization
- Configure field mappings — Some integrations (e.g., CRM sync) allow you to map GTM Suite fields to your platform’s fields
- Disconnect — Click the integration card and select Disconnect to remove the connection
Troubleshooting
Integration shows “Error” or “Disconnected” after connecting- Re-authenticate by clicking Reconnect on the integration card
- Confirm your account on the connected platform still has the required permissions
- Check that your plan on the connected platform supports API access (some free tiers restrict it)
- Allow up to 24 hours for the first sync to complete
- Confirm that the connected account contains active data (e.g., live campaigns, existing contacts)
- Check the integration status — if it shows Pending, the initial sync is still in progress
- Check the full integrations list — use the search bar to find it by name
- If it’s not available, it may not yet be supported. Contact support to request it.
- Ensure you’re authorizing with an account that has the required access level on the connected platform
- For Google Ads: you need Manager or Standard access
- For Salesforce: you need API Enabled permission in your profile
